Child protection policy
Image rights, children's data, commitments required of field workers and the reporting procedure.
General principle
The best interests of the child take precedence over any consideration of communication, fundraising or visibility.
Image rights
No photograph or video identifying a child is published without the written consent of their legal guardian. Consents are dated, kept on file and may be withdrawn at any time, without explanation.
Children's data
No personal data belonging to a child is collected through this site. Programme monitoring data is held locally and aggregated as soon as possible.
People in contact with children
Volunteers and staff who may come into contact with minors commit in writing to respecting this policy. Any breach ends the assignment immediately and, where appropriate, is reported to the competent authorities.
Reporting
Any concern can be reported to contact@inacat.org and will be handled confidentially.
